- Delivered valuable insights to senior management of online reviews via a fine-tuned topic extraction application based on the T5 model. The application scored the extracted topics of interest from unstructured data and allowed the business to determine what customers value and their trended sentiment towards our service offering. The model consistently predicted above 80% BLEU and accuracy scores. (Python, SQL, T5, vaderSentiment, pandas_gbq, beautifulsoup, GDS)- Produced an anomaly detection application which validated actual values against multiple forecasted metrics. The containerised application utilised the Prophet procedure to generate forecasts based on a non-linear additive model which considered seasonality and sales periods. The solution alerted Analysts upon anomalous performance via email and helped to quickly identify and react to data issues, which led to better site performance and allowed the team to reinvest time to increase productivity. (Python, SQL, requests, prophet, pandas_gbq, pandas, smtplib)- Combined Cloud Services to automate dataflows from multiple external data sources, and consolidated the data in a data warehouse using SQL. Scheduled dataflows included python script to retrieve data via APIs. Data was integrated in Google BigQuery using best practices such as data clustering and partitioning which significantly improved reporting performance and minimised costs.
