I am an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with two years of experience, starting my journey with Wates Residential in London and currently on a temporary secondment in Cardiff, Wales. My role involves cost management, procurement, and contract administration, where I ensure projects are delivered within budget and meet client expectations.Before transitioning into quantity surveying, I worked as an HVAC and Gas Engineer for four years and gained valuable insights into building systems and technical installations. This experience, combined with my background in the events industry, has honed my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects—all of which are essential in my current role.Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, exploring new places, hiking mountains, and having a kick-about. I’m also passionate about creating music, which allows me to channel my creativity and think outside the box, qualities that I bring into my professional life as well.
