After graduating from the University of Newcastle with a B.Sc (Hons) in Physics, I accepted a role as a research assistant offered by the University of Sydney. I conducted research within this role funded by a grant from the NHMRC focused on using organic electronics to interface with biological systems. This work continued until the end of 2022, where I transitioned to my current position as a doctoral student working with advanced piezoelectric materials, specifically in relation to microscopy and microanalysis of their crystal structures. I intend to continue this work with a prospective thesis submission date in the first half of 2026.
