Hi, I currently work for GE as a Fleet Reliability and Operations Engineer. Daily I troubleshoot electrical and controls issues remotely, identify and resolve emerging issues across the GE Wind Turbine Fleet, and work to ensure that the fleet operates safely and efficiently. I have worked both as a wind technician, wind site safety coordinator and wind site supervisor before taking on this role as engineer. I've worked in many capacities throughout my life so I speak with some authority when I say that renewables at the operator and fleet engineer level is one of the most interesting and dynamic experiences I have had. Every day brings a new challenge and the work requires constant vigilance to ensure safe operations.I am very interested in the burgeoning Offshore Wind market in the US and would love to find an opportunity to be involved with the development of this industry. I would also like to learn from some of the best in the industry in the Wind Industry in the UK or Europe. Expanding my knowledge into other renewable energy methods is appealing as well. I'd enjoy learning more about Solar and my experience would apply to that field as well, since we use much of the same converter technology.
