Reported directly to the Application Development Manager and worked independently and in teams solving complex problems.Highlights• Used modified Scrum and Agile project management methodologies to ensure the business needs were met on all projects and tasks• Added commitment control to batch and interactive jobs to ensure data integrity • Coded a trigger program to update the item billed percentages at the detail level when the billed weight changed at the header level• Learned how to pull journals to diagnose when and where data discrepancies were occurring • Wrote training documentation and gave training presentations to application champions, managers, and employees. Achievements• Converted DDS physical files to DDL SQL tables - a new DDL table was created and the old DDS physical file became a logical file so recompiles were kept to a minimum• Re-wrote the monthly statements process using a Joint Application Design (JAD) approach.
