Previously, my job involved evaluating raw data and producing timely, accurate reports that adhered to appropriate classification standards. In this capacity, I completed OJT in the first week. Over the next five months, on an eight-man team, I became responsible for roughly 50% of all bulk data refinement; because of my aptitude for the job, leadership requested that I re-write our team's standard operating procedure. I did so, and I used the new documentation to train five analysts. My trainees included both contracted and military personnel. Additionally, I wrote and distributed twenty-seven reports to our customers, two of which were highly regarded for the value of the information they provided.Based on my technical aptitude, subject matter expertise and work ethic, I was tasked by our shop's leadership with the creation of a new Mission Manager position. I built the position and its workflow, along with most of its supplementary documentation, in the span of about three weeks. The position was codified into a billet at our customer's discretion. I currently serve in this role. I spend my days conducting all-source research and analysis; identifying nascent opportunities for knowledge enhancement; writing reports; coordinating meetings with external entities; and coordinating the efforts of six personnel across three analytical disciplines. I have also identified key intelligence gaps which are now being investigated by representatives across the greater intelligence community.The quality of my work is only possible due to the quality of my team; the ground-level culture at Parsons is fantastic, and the joint operating environments offered by SMX and Booz Allen offered opportunities to learn from experts in various fields. My secondary responsibilities are training program management and conducting one-on-one training for aspiring technical experts within our shop.During this time, I have developed training tools that significantly reduce training-to-operations timelines for five mission-essential positions in our shop. I also am heavily involved in Culture Mapping efforts for our squadron, and have led eight sessions and trained two NCO's in briefing and surveying techniques.Based on all of these factors, I earned NCO of the Quarter 3Q2021, and was also nominated for NCO of the Year 2021. Afghanistan

I deployed to Afghanistan and served in an airborne intelligence capacity. I flew 100 combat sorties in support of coalition forces, providing overwatch for 13 ground operations and identifying 628 targets of interest. In one instance, I identified a threat before it could manifest, and conveyed pertinent information about it to the relevant authorities; as a result of my actions, an estimated 60-90 civilian casualties were prevented. I entered pre-deployment training in the fall of 2019. During this time, I recieved ECAC, FTAC and Water Survival Qualifications, and also completed technical training for the duties I'd be performing while deployed.Accomplishments of note include the following: I was chosen to be a squad leader during FTAC, and was responsible for looking after a team of fourteen airmen during the execution of training exercises.
