Hello, my name is Nathan and I am a recent graduate from Portland State University. I participated in MECOP, a program dedicated to getting students real world work experience by giving them the opportunity to participate in two different 6-month internships. First I had the chance to work at Cambia Health Solutions, which is an amazing non-profit healthcare company and I designed tools to help scan documents and automate tasks mostly through the use of Node.js, including the ability to detect different types of documents and send the right information to the right provider automatically, along with the specific wanted information for each type of company while maintaining confidentiality of PHI (Personal Health Information). My second 6-month internship was at Daimler Truck North America, where one of my tasks was working to extract different parts of data to be used on each truck from different parts of the company, including REST API calls, SQL queries, mathematical formulas, RegEx database matching patterns, spreadsheets and more, to finish the blueprint for the building of the entire truck and ensure that there are no errors. I also fixed security errors and recovered lost data from trojans.I have lots of experience working as a team and communicating with others, and automating many processes to help companies save time and money. I am very proficient in many languages, including C++, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Python, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Java, C#, Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, HTML, CSS and more.
