As an MGE Intern at Livingston and Haven I assisted in process improvement for the pulling of parts and MGE profile. This process can be very involved depending on the project and if not done efficiently will result in a project going out late. We were able to cut down the turnaround time from four days to one day which was a huge improvement. This was a team effort involving myself and the floor technicians in which we were able to improve a couple different processes to bring down that turnaround time. I also oversaw two MGE projects where I designed, cut, and assembled the focus of each project. This involved using all the skills I learned over the summer from pulling parts, cutting MGE profile, using the internal BOM system, and 3D modeling using AutoDesk Inventor.
