Working with Old Wesley RFC Senior squads since 2015, I have been Lead Physiotherapist since September 2017. PhD candidate investigating functional performance before and following meniscus surgery of the knee, in order to develop advanced rehab guidelines for meniscus surgery. My particular interest was in developing a protocol for optimal functional rehabilitation and return to full performance / activity / sports participation following meniscus surgery.Working with Dr. Fiona Wilson in the Dept of Physiotherapy, School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin and Prof. Jonas Bloch Thorlund from the University of Southern Denmark.

Held every two-years, the SEA Games is an international multi-sport event. Hosted by Singapore in 2015, the Games encompassed more that 4000 athletes from 11 countries; competing in 36 sports, and 402 events.My role as a Senior Physiotherapist spanned both pitch-side coverage for the Rugby 7s, where I represented the Singapore Rugby Union as a Training Venue Medical in-charge; and clinic coverage, where I was a Senior Physiotherapist in-Charge at the Games Medical Centre.Planning and training for the games included not only logistical coordination, but also reviews and run-throughs of clinical and hands-on skills required for both field of play and clinic based management. The games offered me an opportunity to work with athletes from multiple countries, and also see local Singaporean athletes in action following their rehabilitation with me at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Sports Medical Centre.
