Assistant Manager

Production Manager
The main part of my role at DHP Family was working as the Production Manager. In this I planned all aspects of live music events that took place within the venue. This included DHP’s in house shows and touring acts as well as liaising with external hiring parties from all the UK’s major promotion groups. My role was highly varied, but some key focuses were:• Negotiated and collaborated with the promoter, pre, during and post event to ensure the all technical aspects are compatible within the limitation of the venue and that the event is correctly marketed to ensure it has the best possible chance of success.• Making key decisions on the equipment, crew and transport for the venue pre event and liaising with the client on site at the event.• Collaborating with on-site technical crew to ensure the clients vision for the event is realised.• Designing and implementing creative solutions for any challenges that occur when on site. Working along side the bar team at Turtle Bay, I assisted with the running of the bar area to deliver a high standard of service and an enjoyable atmosphere for the customers. Alongside regular bar duties of cleaning and restocking, it was paramount to provide a visible presence to ensure that all customer requests were responded to promptly. I underwent training to memorise a large menu of cocktails that helped me to assist customers whilst ordering.
