I started in the manufacturing process of the company. Cleaning manufacturing area, shipping/receiving, disassembling and sorting returns. Quickly learning to identify thousands of different bronze and assembly components. Becoming skilled at assembling the many different bronze products. Quality checking the products before and after the assembly process. Identify and correctly pull components for machining and assembly. Worked closely with CNC machinist for accuracy in machining process. Was taught to operate some CNC and other machinery for manufacturing process. Learning to identify and pull the different door mechanisms, cylinders, and rekeying cylinders.Currently working in customer service I work a number of different jobs. Answering customer service questions over the phone, ETA’s, pricing, and general product knowledge. Previewing incoming orders for accuracy before going to order entry. Previewing orders for accuracy before going into production. Order entry. Quoting and verifying invoicing amounts. Handling, processing and managing returns process. Effectively working with distributors, contactors, architects, and home owners for order accuracy and compatibility. Closely working with our engineering team to verify and troubleshoot compatibility of our products with different company lines. Successfully troubleshooting and providing outcomes for field installation troubles over the phone. Overcoming the challenges of a new operating system while still providing excellent customer service. Working through the difficulty of taking on a new company and managing elements of the acquisition.
