Hi there! My name is Nathan Chon and I am a software engineer with experience in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, React, . I was part of the COVID generation. This means that when I graduated I had no ceremony. It was a small celebration and I felt that I was very incomplete in life. I thought that maybe going into a more physical working field I would feel more fulfilled. I became a logistician for the company AMI that worked on the covid testing in LAUSD. Our roles were vital to letting students come to school everyday. After COVID died down I felt still like I was not enjoying the fields I chose to work and study in. After months and months of thinking I realized the one thing I really do enjoy is to create things. I am not an artistic person by any means but I have always loved computers and the way they work. This took years for me to decide but eventually after talking to many people and doing lots of self research I found that coding is really enjoyable.I have years of experience troubleshooting with computers and have actually taken some web development courses throughout my younger years and I did enjoy them in the past but I thought that I was more fit for Biology at the time. (I was wrong) Being a person who loves to play games I have realized that the best way to enjoy when I play games is to go back to the source and truly understand how the games and the websites work.
