I was responsible for maintaining focus on achievement of program costs, quality and timing requirements, in addition to ensuring manufacture-ability, structural integrity, functionality, and serviceability. We developed CAD models for tooling construction and construction details such as lamination schedules for FRP parts. I also coordinated the development of drawings and specifications for materials and component parts, worked with sourcing and suppliers as needed, and even provided support to development and testing of prototype boats.

Interdisciplinary team of FRP experts worked closely through the design and engineering phases of specialty marine projects. After design completion, CAD files were sent to the milling and manufacturing teams where tooling construction and plug lamination begins. Products range from boats of all sizes and styles, to aircraft simulators and wind turbine components. I was also responsible for supporting the manufacturing floor with necessary guidance thru mold construction, and prototype construction.
