As part of a new team formed within Cloud I am working as an architect around backend processes to help efficiency. This involves architecting the next generation systems and their integrations to help better manage/provision/support the cloud backend infrastructure.

As part of the Big Data team in Oracle Cloud, I am in a newly formed devops center of expertise for a cross-functional cloud development group that helps gather internal cloud metrics for better decision making. Key technologies and products I am working with: Exadata, Big Data Appliance/BDA (Oracle's engineered system for hadoop that runs Cloudera), Hadoop, HBase, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, KVM, ZooKeeper, Kafka, Puppet, Banana, Solr, and of course Java.Currently pursuing a MS in Computer Science with a machine learning emphasis, from Georgia Institute of Technology.
