- I was a rank of E-4/ Corporal as an 88M or Motor Vehicle Operator for the Illinois National Guard until April 2021 when I switched to the Tennessee Air National Guard as an Engineering Assistant. - I enlisted in July 2018 as a Private First Class, was promoted to specialists and then a Corporal as a junior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). In this roll I was responsible for supervising lower enlisted members to make sure the orders from sergeants were followed. - I graduated from army basic training in March of 2018. - Managed the project of reverse engineering fixtures throughout the manufacturing plant and drafting them in Creo 2.0 parametric in order to begin producing the fixtures ourselves in order to cut extraneous cost to the company-My main responsibilities included teaching a fellow intern how to draft in Creo 2.0 parametric and then working with him on the fixture project and answering any questions he had. While also making sure we were reaching deadlines for finishing the fixtures-We had weekly meetings with the Manufacturing and Mechanical engineer, and also the IT workers, to discuss our progress and to outline the process of creating and storing the data to ensure that when my internship ended and I returned to classes, the project would would continue on smoothly- I gained vast amounts of experience in AutoCAD, Creo 2.0 parametrics, Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as Windchill and JD Edwards computer programs-I managed over a small team of Manufacturing Engineers and Interns to make sure the Fixture design project was on schedule and had to address any challenges that arose. It was a great experience for learning how to work with a team of people to achieve a goal and also gave me great experience in managing a project
