At FIS I am a part of a team of 5 people responsible for the legacy GHR Systems infrastructure as well as the on-going data center move projects. In the legacy GHR environments I am the primary exchange administrator, I maintain the windows domain, active directory infrastructure, as well as DNS and DHCP. I am also the lead systems engineer responsible for designing and building out the server infrastructure for our 2nd largest client. My responsibilities for the data center moves with FIS include P to V-ing legacy GHR servers in both production and non-production data centers and restoring them in the new FIS data centers. Additional I am also responcible for submitting firewall rule requests to the network team for connectivity, creating service accounts, turning the new VMs servers over to the respective application, implementation, development and QA teams and finally troubleshoot any systems or network related issues discovered after the servers have been turned over.

At PMI, I was responsible for the day to day responsibilities of their Active Directory, backups, and desktops and server environments. This position was a primarily a 2 month contract help desk position which I was able to utilize and develop my troubleshooting techniques.

At USA Technologies, I was the primary Windows Systems Administrator, primary Exchange Administrator, primary Backup Manager for all Windows Servers and primary Active Directory Administrator. I was also responsible for all patch management on every Windows Desktop, Laptop, and Server in the three offices. My tasks at USA Technologies included desktop support, maintaining the Windows Network, Exchange system, Active Directory infrastructure, setting group policies and ensuring they are pushed down to the proper clients, daily network backups and some VB scripting. I was also responsible to getting our windows network up to PCI compliant standards which are very similar to Sarbanes-Oxley standards by writing several Group Policy objects. My desktop support duties included supporting approximately 100 internal staff members and 5 remote employees as well as 150 computers in three separate offices and applying them throughout the domain. In addition, I was involved in the conversion of our backup solution from a tape drive to Avamar's web based solution. I also was the primary point of contact for converting our office in Denver from a Small Business Server 2000 over to a Windows Server 2003 environment. This meant completely tearing down their infrastructure and building it from the ground up.

While attending college I also worked 20 hours per week in the University IT Department performing desktop support duties for students in the computer labs and supporting the "Resnet", resident network. I was also involved in the installation of Windows XP from Windows 2000 and installing the "Deep Freeze" software in the University computer labs using Symantec's Ghosting software as well as upgrading the memory.
