My current role is as a Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Science at Leeds Trinity University. I recently completed my PhD at the University of Leicester, titled: Development and application of novel accelerometer metrics to describe physical activity and explore associations with chronic disease. My research focus is all things physical behaviour, in particular exploring how physical activity assessed by accelerometers can be associated with health outcomes in different populations. I am a Northumbria University graduate, with a bachelors degree in Applied Sport Science with Coaching (BSc) and a postgraduate Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology (MSc). I have previous experience working as a laboratory technician at Leeds Trinity University.
