I am currently a contracts manager for a soft flooring and ceramics tile company. With my background of tiles I am in charge of the ceramics side. My role is to ensure that projects are running on time and within budget, day to day dealings with tilers and managing labour accordingly, dealing with site managers and quantity surveyors, visiting sites ensuring that the jobs are running smoothly, calling off materials and ensuring all health and safety aspects are adhered to.

I was employed as a counter assistant and worked my way through the branch to become branch manager for 9 years. I was responsible for the day to day running of the branch, managing a team of staff, maximising profits, hitting regular sales targets and all health and safety aspects of the business.
