Performance Analysis experience - I have completed 2 years placement within Cardiff Met University as a sports performance analyst. Using the latest software such as Hudl Sportscode, Studio, Angles and more I have been working closely with coaches and players to understand what they require to improve performance. More recently I have started my MSc with Cardiff Met working in a full time role as the Academy Foundation Phase Analyst at Brighton and Hove Albion. This experience will put me in new and challenging situations that will help my progression as an analyst, having the opportunity to work within a Premier League club gives me a fantastic insight into the real world of elite sport. Surrounded by world class facilities and experts in their field I’m in the perfect place to thrive as a growing analyst. I'm very passionate about sport and I am always looking to develop myself however I can. I have looked to improve myself outside of my University modules and gain certificates from professional sources such as PFSA to ensure I have the best knowledge possible when entering the field. I am motivated to be successful and welcome any opportunities!Outside of work and studies I love football, in which I try to play whenever I can. Previously, alongside my A levels, I was involved in a football scholarship with Sheffield FC that i undertook for 2 years. During this time, I volunteered to coach young children during half term periods, this involved giving up 3 days of my week to put on fun and engaging sessions allowing me to grow as an individual, boosting my confidence and my leadership skills. I also enjoy keeping fit, going to the gym 3-4 times a week, I have become disciplined and hardworking even when I may have lacked the motivation to go, I have always continued to push myself and inevitably enjoy the rewards. In the future I hope to work within football and hopefully experience new things along the way.
