My responsibilities at Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) were to accurately staff the facilities that MSHA owns and operates. It was my job to keep a proper nurse to patient ratio at all times by watching the current number of patients, determining the predicted number of patients for the upcoming shift, and evaluating their acuity in order to adjust staff accordingly. I was also responsible for editing schedules of team members to accurately reflect when and where they worked.
