In this position, I was responsible for course development for and administration of our In-House academic program. I created the class and teacher schedules, managed payroll, conducted tests with prospective students, and taught on occasion. I was also responsible for course development for our numerous corporate clients, including PTT, DHL, Muangthai Assurance, CHEP Aerospace Solutions, Beiersdorf (producer of Nivea products) and Padaeng Industry.In my time in this position, I launched and oversaw development of online learning materials using a variety of online applications including Edmodo, Quizlet and WATU Pro. I learned to use Adobe InDesign in order to improve the design of our course materials as well as some advertising materials, and guided teachers in learning to use the program as well.I wrote and designed a 150-page beginners' textbook covering the Thai alphabet, tone system and simple reading strategies. I also wrote a 20-hour course on presentations and co-wrote a 12-hour workshop on negotiations. Using a textbook as a base, I wrote lesson plans and sourced supplementary materials to create an 80-hour course for pre-intermediate students.

I first worked with a team of teachers to create an original 12-level English curriculum which focused on interactive in-class activities. I proposed a number of course and lesson design ideas which were adopted, including the use of picture and vocabulary cards and color-coded parts of speech.After the school opened, I taught English in a small-class setting with students of varying ability levels - from beginner to advanced. I wrote activity lessons for classes and I also wrote a 20-page course book on report-writing for a business-English class.

In this position, I had the unique opportunity to research and write a full 40,000 word guidebook on massage in Thailand. I carried out research using a variety of written sources as well as in-person interviews with massage teachers and practitioners.

I was a teaching fellow at this school through the Princeton-in-Asia (PIA) program. I taught English, Asian history and Singaporean history to classes from secondary 1 to secondary 4 levels (13-17 years old). Each class had 40 students on average.In addition to teaching and marking papers, I also created my own lessons and worked with colleagues to develop level curricula and marking schemes. I also tutored students after school and taught supplementary classes on essay writing and current events.

My classes ranged in size from about 15-30 students. I developed original lesson plans and class materials, largely independent of a textbook, and also tutored students outside class time.
