As a fourth-year student in the College of Business at Ohio University, I am currently working toward receiving my Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance and Business Analytics with a certificate in HR Management. During my final year as a student, I plan to continue building connections, expand my knowledge, and grow my professionalism. I am determined to learn of the skills within my field of study and become an exceptional business leader. Aside from my coursework, I am working to continue getting involved and further develop my network by participating in some of the many on-campus organizations here at Ohio University. During the fall semester of my freshman year, I was initiated into the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity. Initiation followed a 5-week pledging process, during which I participated in several professional development activities and networked with the active members. During my time as an active brother of Delta Sigma Pi, I served as our Vice President of Finance. In this role, I managed our chapter's funds, conducted semesterly financial reviews, and assisted with the implementation of professional opportunities. Additionally, I was selected to be a member of the Wandell Leadership Fellows Development Program after a series of interviews and assessments. Wandell Fellows focuses on exploring leadership identities through reflective exercises, personality assessments, and executive engagements. I recently stepped into the role of Director of Member Engagement for Wandell Fellows, in which I am in charge of organizing mentorship families, coordinating member milestone celebrations, and planning team-bonding activities. I was given a great deal of freedom to make necessary decisions in this role. This position taught me exceptional customer service skills that I will continue to utilize as I navigate future endeavors in my career.
