•Manage all auditing, product certification, project management and project co-ordination activities within the certification department.•Manage certification departmental activities to ensure financial targets are met, including budgeted sales and profitability.•Identifying new potential business opportunities that arise and ensure that the competence of the department and the processes are implemented to instigate the new schemes or scope of certification.•Manage resources within the certification department to ensure that in terms of technical ability and allocated resource to deliver certification in a timely manner and to the relevant competence level.•Continually review and implement competence maintenance to changes in test methodologies and compliance theory within the certification department.•Liaising with Certification’s Body to ensure that accreditation standards are met, that all certification Body policies and procedures are being followed correctly and that performance standard of technical certification is maintained within the department.

Responsible for managing and further developing the TÜV SÜD BABT operations and global network of Technical Certifiers and Auditors Certifiers. Maintenance and management of accreditations, schemes and certification programs under TÜV SÜD BABT and working closely with other TÜV SÜD certification bodies and operations in Product Service Division to meet the demands of the market and TÜV SÜD regions worldwide esp. in the area of regulatory wireless certification.
