I have previously worked in the School of Public and International Affairs, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Health, and since July 2017, the Terry College of Business. My major field of study was international relations with a concentration in the sub-fields of international political economy, international law, and international organizations. My research agenda and my teaching interests lied at the intersection of these sub-fields and were primarily driven by concerns about global governance as it pertains to the global economy. My secondary field of study was comparative politics, with a concentration in the sub-fields of comparative political economy and development studies. During my time as a college instructor, I have taught a variety of introductory courses in American Government, Global Issues, International Relations, International Political Economy, and Comparative Politics as well as more advanced courses on global governance, development, and comparative political institutions. I currently teach an introductory course on American Government at Athens Technical College each fall, spring, and summer semester.
