MPCT is the UK’s number one military preparation college for young people to gain necessary skills and qualifications to enter the armed forces or other progression routes. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, with line management of a training manager and responsibility for 15 learning coaches, across 38 sites, with 200 staff.Responsibilities• Responsible for the company’s strategic training program implementation, across over 35 sites and 200 employees• Responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of CPD, including leadership training for senior managers• Responsible for liaison with managers to complete training needs analysis on departments and subsequent design and delivery of training to achieve KPI’s• Management of SME coaches across the company to help identify skill gaps and plan training around any need• Prepare reports for SLT around company performance, in line with strategic priorities and contractual obligationsKey achievements• As the first person to develop into this role, created an L&D strategy, along with a substantial internal CPD program to support business objectives• Project managed a complete overhaul of the practice of L&D within the company resulting in 30% improvement of staff satisfaction in this area• Implemented a learning management system (LMS) to support company growth, compliance training and future e-learning CPD opportunities• Collaborated closely with the director of HR in the application for Investors in People, which resulted in Gold on the first attempt and Platinum on reassessment• Single handedly designed and marketed bespoke, high quality, strategic documents, including the annual review with was circulated to circa 1000 people• Designed and implemented an internal, company-wide leadership program to realign the workforce post COVID• Digitalised all necessary training during COVID to avoid non-compliance or impact on the strategic priorities of the company
