Testing and implementation of Karen Millen and Coast to an existing Warehouse Management System whilst protecting existing brands through regression testing, alongside MetaPack setup and testing. Operational support for new brands go live with phased handover to BAU with updated updated Standard Operating Procedures.Operarational lead on night through peak trading periods, this consisted of making decisions to maximise output whilst monitoring system performance and providing updates to the directors. MetaPack how to guide creation to allow training of MetaPack to members of the senior management team.Unit and regression testing of bugs and changes making sure they are in line with the group requirements.

Represented the Inventory department for the new Automated Warehouse Management System supplied by PSB Intralogistics.My first task as part of the project team was to create standard operating procedures that would then be used to train hundreds of staff in preparation for Go-Live.As the project progressed I conducted FAT testing, Intergration testing and Regression testing for the Inventory and Outbound departments raising any bugs through JIRA. I then took on the role of coordinating a team of 60 operatives and 5 team leaders on a daily basis to complete warehouse preparations and manage inventory used for testing, ensuring all hundreds of thousands of inventory was accounted for and made available for the test teams alongside conducting Intergration testing for the Outbound department. As the project progressed closer to Go-Live I was asked to train Warehouse Operation Shift Managers for the Outbound department ensuring that the training provided would allow the managers to get the best out of the automated Warehouse Management System after Go-Live and fill them with the confidence and knowledge that would see them through a successful WMS Implementation. My final role for this project was GO-Live hypercare support for the outbound department and Regression Testing for the Returns department.

Plan and analyse staffing levels on tasks ranging from but not limited to PI Counts, Stock put away and migration projects whilst liaising with other departments to determine if they require support or look at future workloads to allow me to plan and determine the workloads I which we may face throughout the day. I have a team of 35+ staff that I keep motivated and manage KPI's set by management along with always looking at ways in which to reduce UTS and maximize warehouse utilization by looking at SKU consolidation options whilst reducing workload been handed to following shift.I am passionate about doing things in the most efficient and effective way possible as to keep stock integrity at is best along with ensuring all reporting standards are maintained and carried out as stated in SOP's. In a fast pace environment, it’s imperative that decisions are made in a timely but logical manner to utilize an effective workforce. As part of my role I look to provide development opportunities to admins and operatives to have a succession plan in place. Under the guidance of the Senior Stock Controller we are always looking to continue the development of admins and inspiring and nurturing them into team leaders to have cover for holidays. I look at ways in which I progress my own development and leadership skills with the guidance of the Senior Stock Controller to allow me to provide cover in an effective manner in the case of holidays and absences.

Under the Guidance of the Senior Stock Controller, I am responsible for investigating departmental queries and customer queries regarding stock whether that be if they match website images or that the quantity's showing in stock are correct. Also, it is within my role to investigate missing or extra stock and determine whether it is has been previously adjusted on or off through looking through transactions within the WMS and the determining how to deal with this stock. During my limited time with stock control I have been developing excel and access tools which speed up processes and continue to look at ways in which we can fulfill more orders daily. I must make sure that all my team has duties to carry out and that minimal outstanding tasks are handed over to the following shift.

Pick/Pack – fully trained using WMS to pick/pack customers’ orders within target speeds in order to meet deadlines. I consider me to be confident in my abilities to overcome any issues that may arise during this process whilst having the ability to maintain a high quality of work that is then passed on to customers.Gun store- Logging usage of handheld scanners whilst correcting data on incorrect orders and running WMS reports at the correct times to ensure that orders are showing the correct status, in order to allow other staff the ability to carry out their duties.Training- I have on several occasions been entrusted by my team leaders to train new staff within our department. This is role I have taken very seriously as I am a firm believer that if given the correct training any member of staff can achieve targets set out for them whether this be picking or packing targets. I believe that my passion for Boohoo.com is passed on within this training and can only carry on bringing success to the organisation. Admin- It is my job to monitor and keep track of all staff hours within the department to ensure that I keep the hours tracker up to date so that accurate KPI’S can be set and monitored each hour, to ensure that as a shift we are been cost effective and meeting targets sets by management and the finance department. Along with performing Adhoc admin duties as and when requested by team leaders and managers. Creation of training documents to allow other staff such as team leaders to be trained to perform my task more efficiently and to still maintain the high standards that are required.
