Being a teacher that specialises in a field that I am very passionate about is a very exciting prospect for me and I look forward to completing my studies in Design and Technology Education in September 2014. Working as Assistant Director OSHC I have been able to develop my skills in interacting with students of all ages and backgrounds of life. I believe the skills I have developed are going to be instrumental in developing myself as an influential teacher within our community. I had an amazing Design and Technology Teacher who was a fantastic influence on me. I left school to work with my passion of wood as an Apprentice Carpenter, later deciding Carpentry was not the path for me. I then spent many years travelling Australia and the world, working in hospitality. Realising I was not working where my interests were I decided to reacquaint myself with my passion for woodwork. What better way to do this then become a Design and Technology Teacher where I could do this every day and hopefully be able to be the same amazing influence that my teacher was once for me.
Listed skills include Teaching, Educational Technology, E Learning, Classroom Management, and 13 others.
