KEY PROJECTS RESPONSIBLE FOR:- Group Network Transformation from traditional MPLS/VPN WAN connectivity to combined SD-WAN/SASE network architecture via Cato Networks. Initial platform configuration and continuous tuning. Migration of 59 UK/EU offices and 2000 remote VPN users.- Designing and implementing new branch office networks based on a Cisco architecture.- Implementing a new Corporate WLAN/Guest WiFi solution, utilising Cisco ISE & Cisco WLC.ROLE:• Working daily with Cisco, CheckPoint and Cato hardware.• Responsible for network infrastructure/devices and applications that maintain the operational integrity of systems/technologies located in data centres on a 24x7 basis. • Interfacing with 3rd party managed services, as well as other in-house IT teams to support e-commerce, corporate call centre, proprietary and COTs systems and applications, including problem, incident and change management. • Provision of Tier 3 problem and incident response support for the enterprise production and non-production environments.• Assisting IT personnel in a consulting capacity in order to ensure resolution of issues and project success.

• Intercity Secure Operations Centre Engineer Tier 2 - remotely supporting and identifying issues affecting customer systems and services and performing diagnosis with a view to resolution.• Supporting the managed services customers networks using Intercity’s system management toolsets and processes.• Working within the ITIL framework including incident management, problem management and change management,• Experience with Cisco, Check Point and Cisco ASA firewalls.• Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios. Working within SLAs to report incidents to resolver groups.
