I have recently graduated from the University of Chichester, having completed a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance.During my time at university, I was able to undertake a 10-week practical placement with an award-winning chartered accounting and specialist corporate financial services business. This enabled me to consolidate my theoretical knowledge with practical experience of bookkeeping, financial statements, taxation and corporate finance. I have also had the opportunity to develop my knowledge of accounting software.Through ‘A’ level and University study I have been able to enhance my mathematical skills, a subject I have always enjoyed. I feel that completing the degree in Accounting and Finance has enabled me to utilise skills I have developed as well as widen my understanding of the world of finance.
