As a caregiver I assist in the needs of our residents. My job is to make sure they are comfortable and get any help they may need. Certain responsibilities that I have are passing medication, taking residents to the restroom, bathing residents, cleaning the facility and creating an environment where the residents feel safe.

When the vehicle's would come into our shop I would help with fixing flat tires, mounting and dismounting tires, oil changes, organizing the shop, and make sure the basic units of the car were operating correctly: brakes, washer fluid, batteries, anti-freeze, steering fluid and the air and oil filters.

For two years I dedicated my life teaching and serving the people of Hawaii about Christ. I followed a rigorous schedule of being up at 6:30 where I would exercise and eat until eight. I would then study the Bible and the Book of Mormon, along with other doctrinal books for an additional two hours. I would then spend the rest of the day until nine o'clock that evening teaching people how to follow Christ and become His disciples. In these two years I had various leadership opportunities to help those that I served. I learned how to encourage and motivate/inspire those that I was serving, the other missionaries that were in my area, and focus on how to get them to receive their own results. In this I learned dedication, hard work, commitment, how to get the results I wanted, working with others; those in the community as well as other members of my church. I absolutely loved my time that I spent serving my mission.

In this position I started off just organizing the aisles and making sure they were full with the products; as well as bagging customers groceries the way they wanted them and then taking them out to their car. I then advanced to a cashier where I was taught how to work the machines and all the codes that were necessary to know. I then finished this job working in the back room, with the Back Room Manager, helping him organize and receive shipments and making sure that the store had everything it needed.
