The primary role of this position is to ensure the development and monitoring of a critical path schedule for all aircraft undergoing heavy maintenance in the Adelaide facility. Responsible for the control and coordination of technical and logistical requests between Heavy Maintenance and external departments.• Constructing a critical path schedule including all in scope structural, mechanical, avionics and workshops activity• Development, monitoring of Gantt charts, visual metrics, KPI’s and hours and materials budgets• Collate information required and submit technical requests• Generate and manage fabrication portfolio through several workshops• Gather and analyse critical information during heavy maintenance events. Prepare and present progress reports to relevant stakeholders on a daily basis

As part of the Graduate Development Program I worked primarily in the Engineering and Maintenance department in a production planning and work flow management capacity. Also held a continuous improvement analyst role in this period.• Development and implementation of a work flow management processes• Development of KPI and process control reports and appropriate visual management tools• Development of targets and schedules for aircraft heavy maintenance checks • Daily management and review of targets against progress • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements utilising lean management and six sigma techniques

As part of the Maintenance and Engineering Services department I was involved with several projects from both a technical engineering and project management perspective. • Concept surveys on site for a range of engineering projects • Site inspections of in-progress builds and monitoring of project progress• Communication and engagement with contractors and relevant stakeholders• Collaboration within the Engineering team and with onsite employees to ensure end user satisfaction• Development of project charters• Designs of several concept projects including the addition of grain elevators, additional conveyor systems in grain facility, auger in floor of grain storage cell and grain chute covers
