•Appointed into a small five-person team responsible for the service, repair and Maintenace of optronics and telecommunications within a fleet of 20 Heavy Armoured vehicles.•First point of contact for electronic/ electric support offering advice and recommendations in compliance with Health and safety and relevant technical publications.•Utilise Technical documents online, user handbooks and maintenance schedules for all equipment that requires maintenance and repair.•Ensure all items of Test Equipment are serviceable and forecast calibration to avoid equipment not being able to get repaired / maintained.•Record all maintenance, repairs and modifications onto an online database that the equipment manager can see their individual and overall equipment availability.•Replace faulty parts by demanding new parts and fitting them.•Mentoring and inspecting Junior Electronic Engineers work ensuring that their work is satisfactory as per technical documents.

•Managed a small team of 10 Electronics Engineers, this included tutor and mentoring, inspecting their work, ensuring safe practice of equipment care and reporting to management on their progress.•Directed the planning, organising and prioritisation of routine inspections, maintenance, modifications and repair on test facilities and field electrical power systems.•Managed calibrated test equipment which included: creating a calibration register, planning calibration around forecasted maintenance periods and liaising with outside agencies to carry out the calibration.

•Carried out routine Inspections, maintenance, modifications and repair of 15 B fleet vehicles and various other PM vehicle and military equipment including Generator systems.•Carry out fault diagnosis using wiring diagrams and technical documents•Carried out fault finding and repair under supervision progressing onto unsupervised work reporting to management on completion.•Carried out the management and safe handling of COSHH products.
