• Managed two production departments consisting of five direct reports as well as sixty-two indirect reports. Both production lines operate a 24/7 operation schedule. • Line equipment being managed consists of extrusion, oven, and press equipment. Four production lines, one being a continuous process with the other three lines being batch operated. • In eighteen months the line production increased output by thirty percent, while good rate has improved by eight percent as well. • Dramatically lowered departmental costs by four percent, with labor costs driving that by a ten percent decrease in cost. Reduced overtime from eighteen percent to six percent. • In an eight month period reduced product lead times from eight weeks, to currently operating with a two week lead time. This was driven by developing an effective and manageable inventory stocking program. • Developed a sustainable and extremely effective training program for all levels of department staff. This has led to a decrease in turnover by seven percent.

• Performed both planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipment. • Recorded all maintenance work following GMP. • Diagnose and troubleshoot pumps, fillers, degassing equipment, labelers, case erectors, shrink wrappers, conveyors, drive motors, ovens, as well as general production equipment. • Rebuild pumps, manifolds, and motors. Installation of new production equipment consisting of wiring, welding and fabrication, and design of conveying systems. • Assisted Engineering group with testing and installation of new Integro vision system. • Attended and completed BTEC program at NC State.
