Code @ Mach 2.2Lead software developer for embedded (C/C++ targeting PowerPC / x86 / ARM) and host (x86) avionics software development with stringent performance and safety critical requirements to run on the XB-1 demonstrator aircraft. Use cases include aircraft simulation, telemetry, system controllers, cockpit displays, data acquisition and visualization.

FPGA / Linux embedded SW (Yocto build, Linux kernel) development work for applications involving high-speed network offload - e.g. RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), PTP (IEEE 1588), etc.

Led effort to research the applicability of FPGAs to low latency trading and started a dedicated FPGA development team. Hired and managed a team of FPGA engineers located across several Quantlab offices. Lead developer and architect for several RTL subsystems (primarily SystemVerilog, a little VHDL) and wrote the Linux device driver (C) and all userspace APIs / applications (C++) that interacted with FPGAs.

DevOps (C#) / System performance tuning and optimization (C/C++) for financial trading applications.

Troubleshoot and develop solutions for HP ISS (Industry Standard Server) networking hardware and software.

Validated Microsoft Windows Server Enterprise/Datacenter products and System firmware images on HP Integrity systems. Trained and supervised a team of student engineers as part of Team Lead responsibilities.
