About Nathan Hays

Hello! I’m Nathan. What gets me up in the morning is my desire to help individuals, teams, and organizations learn and develop so they can face the future. What this desire looks like for me in practice is working in the educational space, where I combine project management excellence with a deep understanding of human learning and formation. I have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which allows me to draw on cutting-edge practices, and I have a PhD, which highlights my research, communication, and teaching skills. This combination of strengths uniquely positions me to lead projects that enable individuals, teams, and organizations to learn and develop effectively. Moreover, as the program manager over an innovation hub within a multi-year Lilly Endowment Inc. grant, I've had hands-on practice in equipping teams and organizations in developing innovative projects in alignment with their mission. I’ve been fortunate to be able both to immerse myself in the conversations around innovation and to put what I learn into practice. My desire to help others learn and develop mirrors my own passion for continuous self-improvement. You'll often find me with a book in my hand or seeking interesting conversations. I have a range of interests, including knowledge management (especially personal knowledge management), personal productivity, operational excellence, Lean thinking, psychology, individual and collective practices that drive innovation, exercise, leadership, and history. I'm always interested in meeting new people, so I'd love to connect with you! My email is njhays88@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
