Multi-Tasking in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role at CAM. I spearheaded an overhaul of company safety procedures and successfully reduced the rate of injuries for company employees. I worked closely with all employees to train and prepare for safe work habits.Working directly under the VP I assisted in managing a smooth running of production schedules and following up with employees to ensure production of company products was on time. Establishing positive relationships with all employees was integral in getting the job done. I was also involved in regular maintenance of company machines and lasers. Making sure the machines were up and running was key for production to continue. In my time creating safety guidelines and maintaining machines I learned a lot about production flow and the cycle of each individual part of our products.

As a counselor at Beauvoir Summer I was always kept on my toes. A counselor of children ages 3-5, I led a classroom integrating camp themes into my lessons and activities. It was a challenging role for me as I had never worked with children so young before, but more rewarding than I could have imagined. Before camp started I was responsible for setting up a classroom that was optimal for play and where learning can flourish. Being in the lead educator role allowed me to showcase my communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and built up great relationships with the children.As a lead educator in this role I was also responsible for connecting with the children's parents and updated them on how their child was progressing throughout the summer. Establishing a good connection with parents is what I came to enjoy as they were leaving their children in my hands.

A counselor of high school campers, I was responsible for ensuring the well being and entertainment of campers. Worked closely with others to plan and create activities and events to help the camp run smoothly. Held daily meetings that allowed us to get on the same page for the day's activities.This position required me to be a leader. A group of teen campers was more difficult than being a counselor for young children and forced me to find the right time to be a friend and then the time to be an authority figure.

I was the first contact for prospective students to correspond with as an Intern in the Admissions Office. I answered phone calls from students and parents and addressed questions and concerns they had concerning the University and the application process. I assisted in giving campus visits to families interested in the University. Having experience with teens and parents allowed me to succeed at this role. I also created and maintained spreadsheets of where prospective students were in their respective processes. In this position my customer service skills were challenged every day, but at the end were sharpened to the point where I experienced every type of emotion in my correspondence with parents and students alike. I enjoyed this experience as it allowed me to assist students with one of the most overwhelming periods in their young lives, as I had gone through it myself.

My first experience of working in the healthcare sector, I was tasked with researching and contacting local businesses to see if they would like assistance in furthering their brand. Created and maintained spreadsheets relating to each businesses contact information and their potential to be a client of ours.At HBG I was also involved in the planning of the creative brand strategy for clients. Being apart of these meetings allowed me to exercise my creative mind and helped me see how crucial the right branding for a business can be.

In my second time interning in an Athletics Department I was eager to continue my work in sports. In this role I was more involved in increasing campus awareness about athletic events and creating a buzz around the school's athletic teams. On game days I held many responsibilities including set-up and closing, public address announcing, ticket sales and box office attending. In this position I successfully created increased school spirit around sporting events and saw attendance and ticket sales for school athletic events increase as a result.

As part of a senior project in high school, I was able to fulfill my lifelong dream of working in sports. In the DePaul Athletics Department I was involved in obtaining contact information about potential partners for sponsorship with the school's athletic teams. I contacted organizations that would be ideal sponsors for the school's teams. In doing so, I maintained a list of contact information and notes about potential business partners. I also worked game day operations and the ticket office for sporting events. Being able to see how a successful school sporting event is run, grew my interest in working in the sporting world. My game day experiences helped me further understand what it means to represent a sports organization and put on a positive experience for patrons of the event.
