CurrentThe Workshop Diesel Mechanic role exists to support the Workshop requirements daily together with the Workshop Manager and 2IC, responsibilities related to an efficient, Productive and Safe Workshop as required.Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.Analysing diagnostic test results.Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmission transmissions, and braking systems.Checking vehicle lighting systems.Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.Maintaining a parts inventory.Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop.Ensuring HDPS Workshop is Productive and Safe.Ensuring Communications Internally and Externally to the Customer is exceeded.Ensuring all Productivity and Budget KPI’s are meet.Working within all HDPS Operational Policies and Procedures.Ensuring all staff are working to all workshop Operational Policies and Procedures.Liaising with Workshop foreman and Workshop 2IC.Liaising with Customers and Company Representatives. Liaising with all intercompany departments and sites may be required.
