Contract position working at Catholic Health Initiatives/Memorial Hospital.

After the sale of Olan Mills Chattanooga, TN facilities to Lifetouch, Inc. I assisted with the combining and transition of IT services from the Chattanooga, TN facility to the different divisions of Lifetouch around the country. I worked with Lifetouch network engineers setting up VPN's, DNS, and other network services to facilitate a seamless transition for remote users. I also worked with Lifetouch systems administrators moving Microsoft Windows database and application servers to their appropriate Lifetouch divisions. Worked to move an existing VMware infrastructure to its new location within the Lifetouch corporation.

Designed, configured and implemented computer networks using Cisco System equipment. PC Troubleshooting - Hardware, Desktop Operating Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite. Built, configured and administered Microsoft NT, 2000, 2003 and 2008 file servers. Become knowledgeable in the areas of the Fundamentals of Network Security, Firewalls and Virtual Private Networks (VPN's), Web Server configuration and implementations, and the Virtual Data Center using VMWare.
