Nate leads a team of patriots and veterans building the World's Best Shooting Handguns in the heart of Texas, with American steel and parts. Since inception over twenty-five years ago, Staccato (fka: STI) 2011 handguns have been the choice of champion competition shooters. Today, while Staccato continues to make competition pistols, the majority of our handguns are designed specifically to serve our nation's law enforcement heroes who protect our freedoms daily, as well as everyone who is serious about shooting and defending their loved ones. Prior to joining Staccato full-time at the beginning of 2018, Nate served as an operating partner and Managing Director for ten years at Westwind Investors, a private investment holding company and the majority owner of Staccato. At Westwind Nate led the firm's direct private equity and real estate investing activities and was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing direct investments on behalf of the firm, as well often taking active operating roles at the firm's portfolio companies.
