I taught mathematics, technology, and science at an English immersion school in Stockholm. Within the math department, I supervised and mentored the new math teachers and co-developed the curriculum ensuring we met the national Swedish requirements. In Swedish education, pastoral care is extremely important even when teaching teenagers. Alongside classroom instruction, I had 15 students every year that I met with regularly, schedule parent meetings with, monitored behaviour and achievement, and advised. Also, as Head Teacher Technology, I conducted staff training on how to effectively use digital resources and supported staff in their use of technology.

I taught Ontario high school curriculum introductory technology courses and senior computer science. This included a wide range of topics from graphic design, photography, and media, to hardware, networks, robotics, and of course computer programming. Part of my responsibilities as technology teacher was to partner with school marketing to produce the yearbook and system administration of the school's Google Suite.

As a CO-OP student, I worked a total of 11 months over 3 terms at St. Andrew's College as a mathematics teaching assistant and resident don. I ran the weekly math clubs, teaching problem solving techniques and extra-curricular mathematics as well as ordering and administering the Waterloo Math Contests. I also assumed sole responsibility of the after-school mathematics extra help program, providing assistance in math courses from grade 9 to Advanced Placement Calculus. Further, I assisted the Help Desk roll out new touch-screen tablets for all students and staff by preparing the new hardware and software and by repairing returned laptops.

As a co-op student, I worked as a programmer and researcher for a brand new start-up. I independently researched automation possibilities of SolidWorks (3D modeling software). I developed and tested a SolidWorks-based program designed to automate the creation and manipulation of industrial fans using a database of templates. I programmed in Visual Basic using Solidworks macros and Java for the database and engineering back-end ensuring both components worked together. By the end of the co-op, the product was successfully sold to an engineering firm.

I administrated and organized the summer Sunday school program by ensuring the volunteers, audio visual equipment, and materials were prepared. Planned and directed two weeks of day camp booking trips and buses, procuring craft and snack supplies, and ensuring to stay within the budget
