I am a former college athlete-turned coach with ten years of basketball coaching experience (middle school through collegiate level) under my belt. I strive to bring passion, energy, professionalism, compassion, and a work ethic second to none from the basketball court to the classroom, and everywhere in between, in order to do my part in helping athletes of all ages reach their fullest potential. As a certified personal trainer I enjoy taking a well rounded approach to athlete development that involves elements of strength training, nutrition, and recovery practices to ensure that athletes are mindful of their bodies outside of the gym as well as on the court. I plan on receiving my Masters in teaching with a concentration in physical education to continue my lifelong goal of teaching PE and coaching high school basketball, and eventually teaching and coaching at the college level. I am a firm believer in the notion that you should never stop learning or striving to improve no matter where you are in life. I am also an avid follower of the 1% rule of improvement: "If you can get 1% better each day for one year, you'll end up 37 times better by the time you're done."
