I am close to finishing my masters course, Business with Accounting and Finance, in Warwick Business School. I am eager to secure a challenging role in consulting or financial industry.My master’s program has given me more confidence to explore new career opportunities. Core modules, like Business Analysis and Valuation, enhanced my analysis and modelling skills. Selective modules, like Design in Business, showed me a brand-new method to approach puzzles. The Business in Practice module allowed me to become an executive member of a virtual company along with other 6 colleagues and experience the thinking process of an executive marketing director. In the sales pitch section, my personal professional performance and excellent teamwork with other colleagues resulted in us wining the prize of "The best performance in sale meeting". This module not only further developed my communication skills, teamwork skills, but also enables my self-reflection skills.During my master studies, I am also caried on my internship at University of Exeter. Although my role title is Social media Ambassador, my job content is not limited by the title. On the contrary, my job is more a keen to a on-site consultant, who handles wide range of tasks from both University and alumni group. For example, I hosted the very first online events from planning, marketing to hosting for our alumni group. The success of event is well-recognized by my line manager and my department.More than one and half year working on this role, it helped me to develop my working skills, such as analytical thinking and project management as well as my interpersonal skills, such as expectation management and negotiation skills. Most importantly, this internship illuminated the difference between student mindset and employee mindset for me.Why UK?After three years studying and living in UK, I have been through lot of first-time events in my life, and these very experiences brought me the most precious memory in my life. Since then, gradually I built up an attainment to this country. And this feeling motives me to carry on this adventure.
