Iron Bridge is Fortescue’s US$2.6 billion project, set to deliver 22mtpa of high grade 67% Fe magnetite concentrate product. Located 145km by road south of Port Hedland, the mine will deliver an innovative process design and industry-leading energy efficient operation.

Our Chichester Hub in the Chichester Ranges, comprising the Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek mines, has an annual production capacity of approximately 100mtpa from three Ore Processing Facilities (OPFs).Cloudbreak utilises 21km of relocatable conveyors that can be adjusted and relocated to any new mining areas to offset the increase in mine life cycle costs. Currently, this conveyor infrastructure helps to offset a huge fleet increase and helps manage our product strategy, while being cost-efficient.

Fortescue’s wholly owned and integrated operations in the Pilbara include the Chichester, Solomon and Western mining hubs. Our mining infrastructure is connected to the five berth Herb Elliott Port and and towage facility in Port Hedland via the fastest heavy haul railway in the world.To be successful the Shutdown team must work closely with the other teams, wider operations, and business to ensure our operational plants, and port operations remain reliable, with an ongoing focus on consistent improvement. My role is responsible to ensure that plant shutdown activities are planned and managed in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, with a sound basis in asset management principles and integrate that plan across the wider business

Worsley Alumina comprises a bauxite mine located near the town of Boddington and an Alumina refinery located near Worsley. Ore is mined then transported 50 km to the refinery via an overland conveyor system. Alumina is then transported 55 km to the port of Bunbury for shipping.

The Rocla Quarry Products division owns 15 quarries in five states that produce specified sands for concrete, mortar, plaster and fill. Responsible for running the mobile screening, wash and dry plants, and rehabilitation of mined areas.

Comalco Alumina Refinery - Rio Tinto Aluminium is now Rio Tinto Alcan after Rio's takeover of Alcan. It was the world's eighth largest Aluminium company. It mines and manufactures bauxite, alumina and primary Aluminium.
