My first taste of starting my own business was when I set up MU promotions at the age of 19. I run MU promotions, a successful music promotion and events management organization up until 2008, before setting up Rewise Learning Ltd and its associated Learn-Thru-Music and Sing-In-Success brands.Rewise Learning Ltd was initially set up to help young people learn and revise GCSE topics via the use of innovative learning songs that combined the GCSE syllabus with cutting edge music.To date over 20,000 young people have accessed our range of GCSE learning resources in just over two years. We now produce learning resources that cover KS3 Maths, English, English Literature and Science. Highlights include having the concept backed in public by the then Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the Education Minister for Wales and Prince Charles. Other notable highlights include having feature length articles written about Learn-Thru-Music learning resources in national publications such as The Times, The TES, The Daily Mail etc. and featuring on the BBC.Building on the success of our Learn-Thru-Music learning resources our Learn-Thru-Music Workshop package was launched in 2010. Our workshops focus on teaching young people transferable skills and accredited learning outcomes via a fun song writing workshop. Clients’ to date include Christ College Brecon, Swansea University and the youth Services from five local authorities across the UK, to name but a few.In September 2010 Sing-In-Success became the third brand to be launched by Rewise Learning Ltd. Sing-In-Success was launched to provide fun music based training, networking and team building events to the corporate sector.
