Joining Tejon Ranch Company in early 2007, Nathan has worked in many different capacities and roles to further the goals of Tejon Ranch Company. From Land and Resource Planning to the Conservation and Stewardship, Nathan has been intimately involved in the development, stewardship and conservation legacy being built by Tejon Ranch. In 2009, Nathan moved into the Real Estate and Entitlement division of Tejon Ranch as a Project Manager. He joined a team in the planning of Centennial, a Master Planned Community in north Los Angeles County. This 19,333 home and 10.1 million square feet of industrial/commercial project will bring jobs, housing and services to north Los Angeles County. Nathan worked on entitling this Master Plan Community through coordination with various Los Angeles County Departments such as Regional Planning, Public Works, Parks and Rec and Fire and Sheriff as well as other public agencies and local town councils. Milestones achieved for this project included the following:• October 2015 – Notice of Preparation• May 2017 – Release of Draft Environmental Impact Report • May 2018 – Release of Final Environmental Impact Report • June 2018 – Regional Planning Commission Hearing 1• July 2018 – Regional Planning Commission Hearing 2• August 2018 – Regional Planning Commission Hearing 3• December 2018 – Approval from Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors • April 2019 – Second Reading Approval from Los Angeles County Board of SupervisorsWith the final approval of Centennial in April 2019, Tejon Ranch Company achieved the following entitlements for the project: • Certification of FEIR• Specific Plan• Zoning Amendment • Master CUP for Project Infrastructure • Vesting Tentative Parcel Map• Development AgreementIn addition to navigating the CEQA approvals for Centennial, Nathan’s responsibilities include managing/planning the Tentative Tract Maps, overseeing the budget, keeping the project schedule moving forward.
