As the Director of Information Technology at Freed-Hardeman University, I lead a team of network administrators, system analysts, and IT specialists in providing secure and reliable IT services to the campus community. I have over 10 years of experience in network administration, network security, and server administration, and I hold the CISSP certification from (ISC)².My mission is to protect the university's data, systems, and users from cyber threats, while ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability. I oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, security policies, and disaster recovery plans. I also collaborate with other departments, vendors, and stakeholders to support the university's strategic goals and initiatives. Some of my recent achievements include upgrading the network equipment and software, implementing a new firewall and VPN system, and conducting regular security audits and training sessions.
