During my role as an Assistant Manager at Ramstein AFB Recreation Center, I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, cash management, managing staff, and providing customer service to the military community. Although similar to my previous role, this position pushed me out of my comfort zone, offering a unique experience that broadened my understanding of diverse cultures. It allowed me to gain insight into the dynamics of both the military community and life in a foreign country.

During my role as an Assistant Manager I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and providing exceptional customer service to clients.This was my first time managing employees and it taught me how to effectively lead others and to organize a team to achieve common goals and maintain standards of the facility.This position further improved my communication skills through daily client interaction. It also provided opportunities for me to constantly seek growth through sales and client retention. This position also furthered my interest in aiding clients meet their physical goals in fitness by introducing them to a variety of resources that we provided as a large scale wellness complex. These resources included: nutritional coaching, physical therapy, personal training, group fitness and beyond.

During my role as a Public Relations Assistant, I had the opportunity of creating connections with my community and building positive relationships with potential new members. I effectively aided in in-person public outreach, media inquiries, drafting social media content, and helped to organize large scale events.This role was created specifically for me after my initial marketing internship concluded. This attests to my capable marketing expertise but also to my ability to be a reliable and flexible member of a team.This role helped me to optimize my communication abilities to the general public as well as strengthened my personal connection to helping people feel comfortable in a fitness oriented environment.

During my role as a Lifeguard, I ensured the safety and well-being of swimmers and patrons at a 3-pools aquatics facility. I also monitored the cleanliness and functionality of the pools and their filtration systems.This job taught me how to work well under pressure and think rationally in stressful situations that involve the wellbeing of others. To this day I still know how to administer first aid and CPR. In addition, this was the job that I did alongside completing my undergraduate degree which taught me early on in my academic and professional career that time management is essential for success.This job helped create the foundation and connections for my future jobs with MVP Sports Club sand advance into future roles with the company.
