As head instrument check pilot and instrument flight board chairman directed quarterly training to ensure only the highest standards of instrument currency and knowledge were maintained across the ranks of instrument instructors. Led robust CRM program for the E-6B community, reviving a previously failing program to achieve a 100 pass rate on all Navy CRM inspections in time as program manager. NATOPS Officer, Commanding an accomplished team of positional lead instructors to manage over 4,000 pages of technical manuals including systems, normal and emergency procedures, NATOPS check flights standards, and aircraft performance. Led training and standardization program for pilots with a safety-centered mindset resulting in the execution of over 8,000 hours of mishap-free flight hours encompassing training, currency, and deployed operations in support of the United States Nuclear Command and Control mission. As highly trusted officer, executed 60% of international exercises between 2015 and 2018 acting as both Pilot-in-Command and Mission Commander Evaluator and achieving a 100% sortie completion rate. CRM unit level manager, commanded a team of skilled facilitators in the maintenance of CRM qualifications for over 150 pilots and aircrew. Co-authored new training syllabus for Second Pilot, Aircraft Commander (Pilot-in-Command), and Assistant NATOPS Instructor (Check Airman) syllabi. For outstanding leadership demonstrated across 28 operational deployments in support of the U.S. Nuclear Command and Control mission, peer nominated and board selected as the Navy and Marine Corps Association Junior Leader of the Year for the entire Navy and Marine Corps ranks O-1 through O-3.
