Where I first had my first big plunge into a permanent position with a company, and a company I stayed at for almost 6 years. I learned carpentry in residential renovations, everything from new builds, to bathrooms, redesigns, basements, garages...etcLearnt many dos and don'ts of the trade, worked alongside some very talented and professional people in other respected trades, and made some great friends and business contacts. Where I first learnt about Holmes on Homes! Awesome show and a great carpenter/contractor!!! Something you realize as time goes by is that not every carpenter knows it all, and not every carpenter follows the rules and not every carpenter tells the truth. And after experiencing that, it was definitely a point in my life for a change!

For the missing pieces of timeline I worked at a few different ranches and feed lots, training horses, and working with cattle. Learning about the horse/cattle industries, these were positions that I was unable to continue with as the failing cattle market and horse market of previous years caused the businesses to fail, and resulted in the loss of employment. Of which happened on a couple of the operations I was employed on! I ventured around from place to place trying to find a permanent position but the ranching/horse training fields are not easy fields to find permanent year round employment in!

Worked on the Cattle View Ranch as a ranch hand. Was an awesome, exciting experience! Was my first real push into horses and horsemanship! They call the owner of Cattle View Ranch the cattle whisperer, because he knows so much about them and can read them like no one I know! :)Never worked on another ranch where I had so much fun, learnt so much and had as much responsibilities around the ranch, was a great place to work!
