As the Lead Data Engineer at Finvi my primary responsibilities include:- Designing and implementing data warehouse architecture using Snowflake as the data warehouse platform.- Developing and maintaining ETL processes using Matillion to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.- Ensuring data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleaning processes.- Monitoring the performance of the data warehouse, identifying and troubleshooting any issues, and implementing performance optimizations.- Defining and maintaining data security and governance best practices to protect sensitive data.- Communicating with other IT teams and stakeholders to coordinate data warehouse efforts, and provide training and support as needed.- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements and providing solutions that meet those needs.- Integrating data from different systems and applications using Celigo to provide a seamless user experience.- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and trends in data warehousing to ensure that the data warehouse remains up-to-date and efficient.Overall, my experience with Matillion, Snowflake, Python, and Celigo enables me to design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable data warehouse that meets the needs of stakeholders and supports business intelligence and analytics.
